Water Emergency Response Technical Assistance and Guidance
Horsley Witten Group supported the U.S. EPA in providing emergency response technical assistance and guidance for the water sector. The water sector includes utilities, states, EPA Regions, water associations, and other federal partners.
The tasks included developing an Emergency Drinking Water Supply (EDWS) workshop that was geared toward states and territories in EPA Region 9, as well as direct assistance for EDWS plan development in three other states. HW also developed EPA Region 4 focused, Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) technical assistance, conducted a virtual regional technical assistance event for EPA Region 3 states, and worked with EPA to update EDWS guidance for states.
