Solution

HW provides no-cost technical assistance to communities with failing septic systems, failing centralized sewer infrastructure, or without existing wastewater infrastructure.Our staff assists communities by assessing their wastewater challenges, examining alternatives, selecting a solution, preparing engineering reports, and helping them apply for funding from sources such as the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.

Results

HW seeks community and stakeholder input at every step of the process to ensure that a solution is found that fits the needs of the community and maximizes the community’s ability to get construction funding. We can also assist the community with establishing a wastewater management ordinance (as needed), thus helping to ensure the sustainability of the wastewater solution.
